Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, VANKYO C751 Over Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones with CVC 8.0 Mic, Deep Bass, Hi-Fi Sound, 30H Playtime Headset for Adults, TV, Online Class, Home Office
You don’t have to be an audiophile to know that in-ear headphones deliver the perfect scene. The combination of soft comfort, tuning and sound enhancing features makes it one of the most favorable ways to listen to music. Needless to say, not everyone is created equal. Leading manufacturers such as Sony, Apple and Beats are constantly engaged in the release of first-class in-ear headphones. However, they have a high price to match.
If you’re like most, you’re probably looking for a pair of headphones that work well, but don’t cost an arm and a leg. Spend a few minutes searching Amazon and you’ll see thousands of different options from a wide variety of manufacturers. Backed by thousands of reviews, the vankyo c751 wireless headset is probably one of the first to catch your eye. As an “Amazon option” and as a reasonably priced competitor, they are currently one of the most popular options available.
For this reason, we decided to book a little for ourselves to see exactly what they have to offer. On paper, they have a lot to themselves; ANC, Bluetooth 5.0, HVAC, great drivers and more. But in reality, do they really work as they promise? We have to find today. We will delve into these popular in-ear headphones and finally determine if they are worth it.
The first look
The VANKYO C751 is an economical choice for those who want a multifunctional sound with comfort. Mainly made of ABS plastic with aluminum frame, feel hard and durable in your hands. In matte black with silver accents, we are fans of their look as VANKE was no bigger to make them super eye-catching.
Inside the box you will find a protective hard case included with a zippered case. Open it and you will see that the headphones are easily stacked in the folded position. In addition, various accessories are included: instruction manual, auxiliary cable, 1: 2 auxiliary splitter and USB charging cable.
Outside the left earpiece, you have all the features at your fingertips. Here are the buttons for Bluetooth pairing, play / pause, skip / previous tracks, ANC and AUX input. The right earpiece is a little less busy. It has a micro USB input for charging and an LED indicator.
The first thing we noticed about the VANKYO C751 was the plush helmet. Each 3.5-inch wide and 4-inch high cup is lined with soft leather giving it a fresh and soothing effect. These oversized headphones are very comfortable, but they also do a fantastic job of making sure your ears are fully encapsulated. For this reason, they make sure that their scene is completely isolated. More on that later.
The headband offers a wide range of adjustment. You can stretch each cup a little, making sure that no matter how big your head is, you can find a suitable size. The lining inside the headband looks pretty beautiful. With the same qualities as the cups, it offers enough softness for hours. Overall, VANKE seems to have found solace. We did not find any pressure points or problems with the adjustment of the helmet.
The main feature that VANKYO C751 has for them is the active noise cancellation function. By turning on the ANC, you immerse yourself in an isolated scene that makes the music much more appealing. The ANC uses built-in microphones to suppress background noise in a unique way. It effectively muffles certain frequencies that interfere with the sound of the headset. You will really listen to your current environment and actively block sounds that the headphones do not understand music, but from your environment. It works in combination with oversized headphones to isolate the soundstage in the most favorable way. With ANC, it’s just you and your music, nothing more. Note however that the ANC has a little more traction on the internal battery, we’ll talk about it later.
Inside the c751 helmet there are two 40mm drivers that sound good. Although the mid and high tones look almost perfect, the low and low tones really outperform them. These large aperture speakers are capable of producing deep, resonant bass that is easy to enjoy. It is not too powerful to silence other parts of the music, but it is tuned to provide bass and muted rhythms.
To our delight, the bass was very beautiful. Rap, hip hop and trance music were definitely our favorites, but everything else we threw at him seemed fantastic. Since they are capable of producing a full range of frequencies up to 40 kHz, it is obvious that VANKE has done a special job to ensure that these headphones sound as good as they promise.
The sound quality is definitely good. Much better than expected. Most of the budget headphones seemed to be missing, while the C751 seemed to live up to all the hype we’ve seen in Amazon reviews.
One thing worth experimenting with is the five different equalization modes. By pressing the volume button twice, you can choose from five different equalizer settings: pop, classic, rock, jazz or voice. Each one sounds a little different as it perfects bass and treble performance.
Battery life and charging
Unlike some headphones, the VANKYO C751 uses a USB-C connection. this is the last type of connection interface, much more desirable than the outdated micro-USB that we sometimes still see nowadays with cheaper brands/models.
VANKYO’s USB-C connection is integrated with the “Turbo Charging” function, which is able to fully charge them in just 2 hours. With a full charge, you can supposedly up to 30 hours at a time. Honestly, most manufacturers exaggerate their needs, so we had to check if the battery was really as effective as promised. When we take the headphones for the first time and open them, we put them in the charger. Once they were fully charged, we turned on the clock and started listening.
Although most of our initial listening sessions were 2-3 hour intervals, after about 25 hours we received a low battery notification. Simply put, a 30-hour estimate is likely to be accurate, but only if you have the ANC turned off and it’s in. When you turn on the ANC, it will use 20% more battery life. The same applies to the volume on which the music is played. Increase the volume almost to the highest value and you will definitely notice a greater appeal than if you had a low volume. In addition, battery performance may be affected by environmental factors such as ambient temperature.
The battery life is impressive, even if it is less than 30 hours, as vankyo announces. In most scenarios, you will probably find that the difference between 25 and 30 hours of battery life is not too big. Just connect the USB-C cable and within 2 hours you can go.
If for some reason you do not want to use them wirelessly, you still have the option to connect the auxiliary cable. In fact, you can use them connected to a low battery in this way, but the ANC will not work properly. In addition, the microphone will not work, so keep this in mind.
Although we tend to ignore phone calls when listening to music, sometimes you need to receive an incoming call. If you do, it’s good to know that the VANKYO C751 has a built-in microphone. Look carefully at the outside of the helmet and you will see a small hole. This microphone picks up your voice when talking on the phone, so you don’t even need to take off your headphones when answering.
VANKYO included something called CVC 8.0. Also known as “clear voice capture”, this feature automatically reduces background noise. You will understand your environment by disabling all sound other than your voice in a unique and effective way. After testing it on three separate phone calls, we can certainly notice the difference. There is no button to press or turn on here, it will work alone to make the phone call as best it can, even if you are in a busy grocery store or a noisy bus driving on the road.
Vankyo C751 ANC headphones have many features for them. They are built with fantastic comfort and a good plush fit which most say provides a comfortable experience to enjoy their favorite songs. What’s more, the ANC function works great and can create the best soundstage for 40mm plus drivers grandi.il the sound is rich, bright and fantastic throughout.
These are bass headphones that do not necessarily accelerate in one place on another. In our opinion, they are a great choice for music lovers who want the perfect combination of performance and economy. You get fantastic value at the price they arrive at.
