Acer Aspire TC-895-UA91 Desktop, 10th Gen Intel Core i3-10100 4-Core Processor, 8GB 2666MHz DDR4, 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD, 8X DVD, 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.2 Type C, Windows 10 Home
Acer has been producing laptops, monoblocks and computers for a long time, so there are no complaints about the assembly itself.
Built in a good and sturdy body (the metal is quite thick,so with its small size – heavy). When working, there is nothing that does not rumble,
it’s not ringing. This creates the impression of a well-assembled thing. The appearance is quite strict, but cute, it fits into any interior.
If desired, you can also place on the table.
Inside surprised immediately installed SSD WD SN 530 NVMe from Western Digital, 3D NAND TLC (Max. read speed 2400mb / sec. it is Max. rate
1750mb / SEC.) When I expected to see a normal SATA SSD (or M. 2), but neither like M. 2 NVMe, which has read \ write speed
sometimes higher and it’s beautiful.
The A-Data 8GB DDR4 2666MHz CL19 RAM is a regular standard memory with 19 times (no games, it has this score of 16-17),
the performance of the computer does not affect, the difference is so small that you will not notice it.
This is not a plus, but certainly not a minus for this team.
The power supply is installed by Chicony-manufacturer of keyboards, webcams and power supplies . Block
500W in excess for this computer, the 120mm cooling fan is almost invisible. The efficiency standard of this unit is 80Plus Gold.
There are several certification options: 80 PLUS 80 PLUS Bronze, 80 PLUS Silver, 80 PLUS Gold, 80 PLUS Platinum, 80 PLUS Titanium.
Intel i5 – 10400f (6 core \ 12 thread) is one of the most popular processors for gaming computers
beginner and intermediate level. It is also perfect for home video editing, Photoshop, work, etc.
The motherboard on the b460 chipset is already quite good, it could be on the H410 budget. Yes-this is not a game, but there is no one and does not collect the tops
the gaming computer will not deal with the wild overclocking of the processor and memory frequencies, so this is a plus (although not great).
The GeForce GTX 1650 4GB graphics card (if you do not expect a 4K monitor) will not feel bad in modern games
in Full HD resolutions and on a 2K monitor, you already need to intelligently configure the graphics settings to be able to play comfortably,
here, the presence of only 4 GB of memory and the youngest graphics processor of this series is striking.
The case is not large, but there is enough space to install a video card with two fans, a DVD player and a 3.5″hard drive.
There is a built in SD card reader.
Another plus (for me), but for someone can this and minus the lack of preinstalled windows.
The manufacturer installed Endless (Linux-based operating system) ,
but it is unlikely to be useful to most users, and therefore you have the opportunity to install the operating system to your liking.
Now about the disadvantages:
The most important is the fan (Cooler Master) in the processor. As a 4-pin cooler and must be handled normally by BIOS,
but in the BIOS there are no CPU fan control settings and it is in automatic mode with cold CPU 18-20 works in large
it rotates and creates a very unpleasant noise or even a hum. I had to replace it with a less noisy 3-pin cooler that got up
on the same radiator and at the speed of rotation of 800 rpm added only a few degrees, but became quiet.
The form factor of the motherboard, as well as the power supply is not standard-under Acer, so if suddenly the power supply fails
or the motherboard, you will have to look for a native for Acer. But on the other hand, who thinks that the portable processor, the video card ,
and sometimes the memory is not soldered on the motherboard, and when something fails, you can throw away the whole laptop. Here is the graphics card, the processor
and the memory can be rearranged on another card, if desired on a standard card. So negative, but not critical.
Rather not less, but a small objection on this video card only 2 Video output: DVI and HDMI. The already known display port is missing.
